Graphics to the Extremes

Graphics to the Extremes

As is expected of every PALIT® product, this GeForce® iteration retains compatibility among most motherboards. It is, of course, of the Pascal architecture series – the 10-series, to be exact – and Pascal graphics cards, they are, to say the least, powerful.

The PALIT® GeForce® GTX 1080 Dual OC comes with 2 cooling fans. It uses NVIDIA®’s GeForce® GTX 1080 chipset, and is improved by PALIT®’s touch of technology. This PALIT® originality comes with the Honeycomb Bracket design, which has a lot to do with the card’s improved airflow. This makes for greater cooling as this video card favors silent running, with the 0-dB Tech. Another PALIT® piece of ingenuity is the DrMOS, an improvement of the circuitry within the card that also reduces heating.

The PALIT GeForce GTX 1080 Dual OC card boasts a massive 2560 CUDA cores, sending its graphics processing speeds sky-high. Expect good performance. Each CUDA core contributes to the process speed warranted of the GPU in accordance with the central processor’s information clock speed. This is further improved by the card’s memory interface: it uses GDDR5X, the latest of this quarter’s video card interfaces. The GPU’s ability is even more escalated by its chipset’s massive 8GBs worth of VRAM. Adding together, these specs show powerful performance all-in-all.

Virtual Reality is a must these days, and the PALIT® GeForce® GTX 1080 Dual OC is no exception in giving this functionality. With such power, expect 4K on-screen beauty (7680 x 4320 @60Hz) as you enjoy your favorite games, with ease and with style.

As for the interface, this video card is armed with the usual VGA plug. It also has HDMI 2.0 support, which only means that it can cater to a multi-monitor display. It’s also good to note that since it supports HDMI connections, it certainly allows for updated VR capability that would require HDMI. With a potential of three monitors and proper VR, this card is in for good display.

Of course, there will always be the DirectX12 compatibility, and that, coupled with the power of the PALIT® GeForce® GTX 1080 Dual OC, would produce nothing but only the best.
