The Sound of The Race: Gamdias HEBE M1 RGB Surround Sound Gaming Headset

With gaming peripherals on the rise, it is only natural that gaming headphones should join the gadget race. The Gamdias HEBE M1 RGB Surround Sound Gaming Headset is one of the headsets in the world of peripherals, and it indeed shows proficiency, coupled with finesse in its field.

The HEBE M1 has an unorthodox jack. Instead of using the traditional standard audio output port, it uses a USB interface. The cable from the USB interface then connects to the sound controls, and from there, the cable heads to the headset proper.

The sound controls resemble a TV remote. We found it easy to grasp because the distance of the controls to the hands is just right. There are two buttons for volume, one button to disable/enable sound, and another button to enable the light on the sides of the headset.

There is also a microphone at the base of the headset that can retract to the point of being just a simple knob at the bottom. We also found it easy to tweak as the user desires because not only can the length be changed, it can also be bent all the way to one’s mouth.

There are open areas where the ears should be, too, unlike other headsets, which are flat. This gives the user not only a more surround-sound feel, but also comfort, as, unlike the said flat headsets that squeeze the earlobe, the Gamdias HEBE M1 RGB gives way for the ears to stay put naturally.

Being a gaming headset, we used it in our first-person shooters. In Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare for example, we found that it vibrated when the firefights start. The sound was crisp, and fully available to our ears.

They were comfortable, too. We took time to try them out, and, since the headset does not squeeze the ears, they were snugly held on the head of our gamer.

The color was somewhat appropriate. Being a gaming headset, it felt natural that this peripheral should show some dash in execution.

The Gamdias HEBE M1 RGB is not only attractive; it also gives a secure feel when used. Its design among gaming headsets is exceptional.
