Manila, Philippines – Vertiv™, formerly Emerson Network Power, officially launched under its new branding in the Philippines, announcing a fresh approach focused on growing its network of local IT partners. While Vertiv is the new name, the company is still an established global industry leader. It’s a trusted partner for the operators in data centers, communication networks and commercial and industrial facilities, and one with newfound speed, focus and flexibility as a standalone company.

Manila is a strategic location for Vertiv as it serves as both the headquarters of the Philippine market unit and the regional operations center for Asia with employees performing key sales, technical and service support roles. Vertiv will continue to build on the broad portfolio of product and service offerings for power, thermal and IT management capabilities it previously offered as Emerson Network Power, including its industry-leading flagship brands ASCO®, Chloride®, Liebert®, NetSure™ and Trellis™.

This launch follows the global campaign to rebrand Vertiv as a standalone company, after the completion of the sale to Platinum Equity.

Paul Churchill, vice president, Southeast Asia sales, Vertiv, said of the rebrand: “The Philippines remains a key market for us at Vertiv. With a burgeoning ICT market, we see tremendous opportunities here because of digital innovation. We have been in the Philippines for over 16 years and as Vertiv, we will continue to build on the unmatched legacy and strong foundation we’ve established over the years. We are committed to helping our Philippine customers achieve their goals and enable their digital strategies.”

Vertiv will continuously tap into growing infrastructure opportunities in the telecom, manufacturing, banking, transportation and business process outsourcing (BPO) industries. During the launch, Vertiv also highlighted its key solutions offering for the Philippines, including its converged solutions and integrated modular solutions as well as turnkey project management services.

At the same time, Vertiv in the Philippines will look at forging stronger partnerships and growing its local network of technology distributors and resellers. At present, Vertiv has over 500 resellers across the Philippines, including in Cebu and Davao.

“One of the key drivers for our success is partnering with local IT players that can help us reach more customers,” said Jason Lim, country manager, Philippines, Vertiv. “For 2017, we will strive to become a more partner-oriented organization, working with the local IT channels and system integrators to deliver our best-in-class solutions to more customers.”

“In 2017, we expect enterprises throughout the region to put more focus on optimizing and improving their critical infrastructure to support trends such as the Internet of Things (IoT) and edge computing. At Vertiv, we are committed to driving technology innovation that meets the changing needs of our customers and the marketplace, matching that with our wide range of services and our deep expertise in the industries we serve,” said Churchill.
