GTA V has plenty of backlash – and with good reason. Sexual themes, extreme violence, outright cussing – all of it in one tin can. Since the start of Rockstar North’s infamous masterpiece of a game series, Grand Theft Auto has been hated by critics, and loved by fans.
In GTA V, one of the first heists in the game is the Jewel Store job.
A heist is nothing without good crew members. You need a (1.) hacker, (2.) gunman, and a (3.) driver for the job.
a.) Hacker: Rickie Lukens asks for the lowest cut in this job (4% cut). Paige Harris (15% cut) and Christian Feltz (10% cut) ask far more, and you’ll get the same result anyway.
b.) Gunman: Unless you’ve unlocked Daryl Johns (6% cut), it’s best you choose Norm Richards (7% cut), otherwise Packie McReary for his survivability (12% cut) if you’ve finished his side quest.
c.) Driver: Take Karim Denz for his small cut (8%) or Eddie Toh (14% cut), depending on your approach.
Take note that Trevor is not yet in the crew list, as he is not part of the story yet.
Once the heist starts, you have the option to barge in from the front door (Option A) or to keep things quiet (Option B).
Rickie Lukens may have the least best results, but nonetheless, that’s all you need for the entire heist. You don’t really need the other hackers.
If you took Norm Richards as Gunman, you might lose him during the end of the heist. Packie McReary may be expensive, but he does survive until the end. If you manage to find him during the Getaway Driver random event, help him out, and from then on he’ll be an option for your heists.
Choosing Karim Denz makes your ending chase more difficult. However, this does not change his cut, and expect bigger pay afterwards. Choosing Eddie Toh, however, despite the higher cut that he requires, means a greater maximum amount of cash, given you choose Option A.
Total: At best, you’ll get up to $5 million. More than $1.1 million goes to Michael, and Franklin gets around $300 thousand.
