What are computers without electronic hardware? At this moment, hundreds, even thousands of ships across the globe travel and send electronic hardware to different points of the map. Without these ships, there wouldn’t be computers, and there would be no businesses, no gaming, no power users, and no technical users.
Well then, what is there to talk about, really, about exportation and importation?
In this article, we managed to talk to one of the professionals from the Studies in Export Management in La Salle Saint Benilde, who declined to be named. For this article, we will be calling him Rick.
To Rick, he says, when it comes to transportation of material, especially those of electronics, “(I) have to do good, because mistakes can be costly.”
How important is Exportation and Importation to the Electronics companies?
To him, his job is the “lifeline” of electronics companies across the globe. Companies rely on them to function, and without them, the companies would fail. Rick says, “Communication is key when coordinating with the parties involved in the shipment.”
Thinking about this, we may say that companies as close as Palit and MSI in Taiwan might already be having trouble, if not for the proper work of Rick and his colleagues. Without Rick’s intervention, the gamers of the Philippines would be left without hardware, and we would all be without jobs in the business sector.
Rick himself is one of the first to become the go-to’s in the exportation sector, and without him, we should expect electronics to simply go amiss.
Does it harm you, the community, or society in general, when you export goods?
Rick is rather straightforward with this. “Nature is given: Pollution from ships. And if tragedy strikes, the materials would be adrift in the sea.”
Rick is also very concerned towards his co-workers. “To people, sometimes employees can be overworked… their being through stress (is harmful to them).”
To conclude it all, those that give us so much of our enjoyment in gaming, in business, and in power-use, are all in stress as well. Life is not all about us. We may be one side of the spectrum, but on the other side, the people that give us our hardware give us so much sacrifices just to give us our equipment. Let us never forget to appreciate them, and when given the opportunity, thank them as well
