How often do you get a chance in your life where you got to make something that is very out of your league? If you’re gonna ask me, my answer would be once every blue moon and I think I was too busy last night that I didn’t get the chance to look up at the sky to see that it was a blue moon because at this very moment, I’m going to review a game console.
Let’s, approximately, estimate that one-fourth of the female faction doesn’t like playing video games, maybe for two reasons: first is that they haven’t got a chance to play a console since they were born because, yes, they are girls. Or second is, maybe, factually, they’re not just really into playing those boyish thingys.

Lucky for me, I’m not having those reasons, I have a personal background in playing a console in my childhood days, and yes, it’s a Playstation, as far as I can recall it’s a Playstation 2. And how was my gaming performance? Pretty cool I might say. But its way back then and as I can see from now, how I played with my PS2 back then is very different from how a Playstation is played today.

So for a novice like me, I would like to take this chance as very rare and ironic opportunity to review one of the best console in a vast growing gaming society.
Let’s start with how it is designed. The Sony Playstation 4 is a sleek rectangular box with a matt and glossy section. The glossy part contains the Blu-ray drive, while the matt section concealing two USB 3.0 ports in a central horizontal gulley and it knows how to be silent, it produce no more noise levels that rise in gameplay with the Blu-ray drive running. For a console that is 275mm wide, 53mm high and 305mm long, it really gives it the neat outlook. There’s no external power brick to cram in with your AV equipment, and it’s an absolute doddle to set up.

More likely acting as one massive status indicator, its power and eject buttons are touch-sensitive and is hidden away in the light-up bar which runs along the top and down at the front in-between of the two sections. At the back there’s the HDMI output, and optical audio output, an Ethernet port and an additional USB 3.0 port designed for the PlayStation Eye camera. Its APU has 18 compute units in the GPU portion that rules on an 8GB of 5500MHz GDDR5. PS4 is also devised to be voice navigated, where you get to command your console to specific pages, take screenshots or launch games and apps.

Yes its true, PS4 is indeed a very cool console, with only talking the design, so what more if we continue this and begin the judgment with its trusty partner, the DualShock 4. I think I maybe speaking for everyone if I said that it’s been cleverly laid out, if being compared than its previous version, the DualShock 3. The DualShock 4 will not be just your console’s best friend but yours too. It’s comfortable to hold, the dual analogue sticks are much tighter and more precise. The feel of the bumpers and triggers is totally perfect, and it just feels like a more solid, grown-up pad. It’s simpler, straight to the point and more instinctive.

On its display, PS4 has more graphics horsepower to play with, not to mention more memory bandwidth. It also runs at a 1080p resolution. There’s also already some extra applications installed in the console. Like the “What’s New” page that will appear once you commence your PS4, the app will take a moment to load then afterwards you can see what your PS4 friends have been up to, at once. You can also quickly see who’s online and what they’re currently doing. The app will also allow you to launch the same game without the struggle. When you’re playing a social-focused game like Destiny or DriveClub, these little things make all the difference.

Sony’s PlasyStation 4 has really established itself as the next generation console and proved that it is the game to beat today.

Verdict:

For a girl who has a heart for gaming, I’m totally recommending this console to every guy friend I have and mayb buy myself my own.Sony has really pushed their edge with this gaming console. It’s not only great in one thing but in so many ways that you would want to do on a console, and still you’ll still play with it the very next day and not get bumped. From its nifty design to its pragmatic controllers, not to add its flourished offerings, it will absolutely transform a chic lady into a hardcore gamer.
