Transcend Information, a leading manufacturer of storage and multimedia products, announces the introduction of the DrivePro Body 30 body camera. Designed specifically for public safety professionals, the camera features a 12-hour battery life, IP67 rated dust and water resistance, and U.S. military-grade shock resistance. With a Sony high-sensitivity imaging sensor, an all-glass lens, automatic infrared illumination, and six-axis image stabilization, the DrivePro Body 30 delivers clear, high-resolution images. Paired with the DrivePro Body 30’s Bluetooth Low Energy and Wi-Fi connectivity, the exclusive Transcend DrivePro Body App, designed exclusively for use with DrivePro Body cameras, gives users control over settings and images from their iOS or Android device.

Sony image sensor delivers quality high-resolution
Transcend’s DrivePro Body 30 features a high quality, all-glass lens with a large aperture and a wide field of view. The camera’s Sony high-sensitivity imaging sensor with wide dynamic range ensures critical details are captured in all lighting conditions. The DrivePro Body 30 is equipped with infrared LEDs that automatically switch on in low lighting conditions, allowing for images to be captured even in total darkness. The camera’s six-axis MEMS sensor provides electronic image stabilization to reduce the effects of camera movement, greatly enhancing video quality.

Myriad features in a tough, durable package
Transcend’s DrivePro Body 30 also features a pre-event buffering mode, which can capture up to two minutes of video evidence before an event occurs. When an incident occurs, a user simply presses the main button twice to activate recording mode and begin saving video evidence. The twelve-hour high capacity battery allows law enforcement and other professionals to continuously record high definition video for the full duration of their shift. The quick snapshot button is useful for capturing still images while recording video, streamlining the collection of evidence during an incident. Transcend’s DrivePro Body 30 has IP67 rated environmental sealing for dust and water resistance, and meets rigorous U.S. military drop-test standards for shock resistance.

Connectivity via Bluetooth and Wi-Fi
The DrivePro Body 30 features advanced connectivity including Bluetooth Low Energy and Wi-Fi. Users can adjust camera settings and control the DrivePro Body 30 via Bluetooth, and live-stream videos to an Apple iOS or Android device via Wi-Fi. In addition, users can also adjust camera settings and access recorded footage and snapshots with an Apple iOS or Android device with the DrivePro Body app, a free download designed exclusively for DrivePro Body devices. To prevent evidence from being tampered with, the DrivePro Body app allows users to embed every recording and snapshot with a clearly visible user ID and timestamp.

Multifunctional docking station allows for simultaneous data transfer and charging
Transcend’s DPD6N networked docking station is designed specifically for the DrivePro Body 30 and offers a complete charging, data upload, and camera management solution. Ideal for large-scale deployments of DrivePro Body 30 body cameras, it allows for simultaneous charging and network-based data and camera management. Files may also be shared to an external storage device via the USB 3.0 port.

DrivePro Body Toolbox
Transcend’s DrivePro Body Toolbox is an exclusive software designed for the DrivePro Body series cameras, featuring a user-friendly interface that allows users to securely manage recorded videos and snapshots on Windows PCs. Transcend also offers the DrivePro Body 30P, an advanced model for law enforcement and other organizations that have stringent data security requirements. Protected by a complete data security mechanism, the DrivePro Body 30P can protect photos and video recordings from unauthorized access, thereby maintaining the integrity of collected evidence.

The DrivePro Body 30A body camera comes with Transcend’s Two-year Limited Warranty and both a 360-degree rotatable clip and a Velcro holder.
