Headsets are thoroughly changing. Nowadays, we have different niches for sound peripherals: business, home entertainment, and gaming. The GAMDIAS® HEBE E1 proves to be a good gaming headset, while still being a possible choice for the other two uses should the need arise.
Though much of what we see today are dedicated I/O or USB-based headsets, very few match the versatility of the HEBE E1. It not only includes I/O; it also includes a USB interface. This makes it adaptable to both conditions. Whether you have no dedicated audio, or if your preferred interface is simply putting it into USB 2.0, then this is the headset for you.
RGB is the fad now and the GAMDIAS® HEBE E1 proves to follow the trend by making itself quite the peacock: it has two RGB pads on both earcups. It has LED settings to go with it, for maximum aesthetics.
Unlike other gaming headsets that focus solely on the controls within the executing device, the HEBE E1 has its controls directly on its cable. It has this for practical use: the cable not only functions for sending data for input and output, it also has the controls for easy management. The controller pod located on the cable includes the button for disabling microphone audio, there’s button for volume management, and of course, there’s the button for changing RGB settings in one go.
To test the GAMDIAS® HEBE E1, we played Lana del Rey’s Diet Mountain Dew on full bass. It was sending wubs with perfection! When put into crisp “clarity” mode, it can capture the true sound of the instruments of the song.
The GAMDIAS® HEBE E1 is indeed the headset of tomorrow.
We give the GAMDIAS® HEBE E1 a total of 5 out of 5 stars for its versatility, as well as for its user-friendly setup.
