Technology stores nationwide filled up on the first day sale of the much-anticipated OPPO F7. The selfie expert brand exceeded customer expectations by achieving a total of 37,687 units sold on the first day of sale, breaking the company’s previous record of 33,000 units for predecessor OPPO F5 last October 2017.

After a week-long wait, customers were happy to avail of their OPPO F7 smartphone, together with freebies as a privilege for being part the pre-order period. OPPO stores in various locations nationwide accepted pre-order customers upon opening and generated long lines and huge crowds.

“OPPO F7’s outstanding value for money and selfie expert features are what captured the Filipinos’ interest. We believe that more than the F7, people now see OPPO as a brand that can be their partner in their daily lifestyle,” said Eason de Guzman, OPPO Philippines’ Public Relations Manager.

Outstanding features to capture the real you

The OPPO F7 is the world’s first 25MP front facing camera on a smartphone with the latest Sony IMX576 sensor HDR for clear and backlight worthy selfies. It boasts of its improved A.I. Beauty Technology 2.0 that analyzes the face in more than 296 recognition spots and beautifies it in 3 individual zones.

Aside from selfies, the OPPO F7 bings a 6.23” FHD+ Super Full Screen display, 12nm Octa-Core processor with 2 dedicated AI cores, and a 3400mAh battery with A.I. management. Additionally, OPPO F7 is available in three trendy colors of Solar Red, Moonlight Silver, and Diamond Black with its glossy design.

“We are happy with the turnout of the OPPO F7’s first week. This new record is a sign of our growth in the market and a challenge to push ourselves to give the best experience to our customers,” said Jane Wan, OPPO Philippines’ Brand Marketing Director.

The new OPPO F7 is now officially available in the Philippines. The latest selfie expert smartphone is priced at SRP PhP 17,990.00 while the more powerful OPPO F7 128GB is priced at PhP 21,990.00. Customers may choose from three stunning colors of Solar Red, Moonlight Silver, and Diamond Black in all OPPO concept stores or authorized resellers nationwide.
