Manila, Philippines — Hitachi Vantara, a wholly owned subsidiary of Hitachi Ltd. (TSE: 6501), today announced an expansion of its distribution agreement with MSI – ECS Philippines, Inc. beyond Singapore and China into the Philippines. A value-added distributor, MSI-ECS offers the skills, experience and solutions experience to sell and support partners and customers interested in business transformation using Hitachi Vantara offerings.
The expanded distribution partnership reflects Hitachi Vantara’s aggressive growth strategy in the Asia Pacific region. In the Philippines, Hitachi Vantara and MSI-ECS will leverage the growing demand for IT solutions across the banking, telecommunications, commercial, government and media industries and across existing and new customer opportunities, including those outside in big cities outside of Manila. With MSI-ECS as a value-added distributor and strategic Resell partner within its Hitachi Vantara Partner Program, the companies will look to grow market share in the Philippines significantly over the next two years.
