Transcend Information Inc., a leading manufacturer of storage and multimedia products, is proud to announce its participation in the Davao International Marathon 2019 (DIM 2019) – Powered by Taiwan Excellence, an annual running event organised by Davao Ultrarunners Club, Inc. (DUC) and BBGRun Events to promote Davao City – the most progressive city in the island of Mindanao, Philippines. The run will take place on Sunday, March 10, 2019 at People’s Park, Davao City.

 

On behalf of Metro World Child, Transcend Philippines and Taiwan Excellence Philippines will collectively sponsor 15 children and 5 adults to join the 5K run, with the aim of promoting a healthy lifestyle for children and their families. In addition to the waived registration fee and marathon race kit, the sponsored participants will also be gifted with Transcend premiums, a post-run Jolibee food party and a special award presentation on the Taiwan Excellence stage area.

 

 

Furthermore, Transcend will offer support to Active Pinas, an active and healthy lifestyle portal responsible for the photo and video coverage for DIM 2019, in the form of CompactFlash 800, SDXC/SDHC 300S and microSDXC/SDHC 300S memory cards for their photographers, videographers and drone, respectively. The DrivePro Body 30 camera for running enthusiast and influencer Zha Buenaflor Malana to document her DIM 2019 experience, will also be exclusively sponsored by Transcend.

 

Visitors and runners can look forward to seeing new products and learn more about Transcend at the Taiwan Excellence booth.
