Telecommunication and digital services leaders PLDT and Smart mark another milestone with the unveiling of the first ever PLDT-Smart converged Store in Quezon City.
The unique lifestyle hub is located at Vertis North, a central business and lifestyle district along North Avenue. It is a one-stop experiential hub and digital lifestyle store for customers of the country’s two biggest telcos — PLDT and Smart — featuring customer-centric design and innovative digital installations that will raise the bar in in-store service experience.
“We’ve received great feedback from our first PLDT-Smart store in BGC, and we would like to replicate that experience for our customers in the metro north area,” PLDT’s Chief Revenue Officer Al Panlilo said. “Quezon City has always been a key market for us, and we look forward to serving our customers better through our industry-leading digital solutions and support services.”
As a digital hub, the PLDT-Smart Store features superior technologies such as the self-service InfoTouch Booth, which allows customers to view and print billing summaries, check account details and submit repair requests, among others; the Smart Super Kiosk, which lets customers pay their bills or request a change of SIM card without having to queue; and the Broadband Visualizer, which allows customers to check data usage for different types of online activities as well as estimate download and upload times. This is useful for customers who are deciding on the most suitable broadband plan based on their specific needs.
An Interactive Table is also set up for guests who would like to browse, play, watch or listen while waiting for their companions in-store.
As the country’s largest and most populous city, Quezon City is a vital business hub. For PLDT and Smart, Quezon City has the second largest subscriber base nationwide for the fixed line business and has the biggest number of wireless subscribers in Metro Manila.
Currently, PLDT’s stores in Quezon City are located at SM North EDSA, Diliman, Fairview, and Balara. Smart also has stores in key areas in Quezon City including SM North EDSA, Eastwood Mall, Robinson’s Magnolia, Ayala Fairview Terraces, Araneta Gateway, SM Novaliches, Ali Mall Cubao, and SM Fairview. Moreover, Sun’s standalone stores are in New Farmer’s Cubao, Ali Mall Cubao, Robinson’s Magnolia, SM North EDSA, SM Fairview, SM Novaliches, SB-Centris, and SB Fishermall.
